“There is something I can do, and I’m doing it. I am going home. And you’re running out of time to join me.”

This is a bit of a different style prompt that we usually get around here, but I made it work. And it's been a while since I drabbled (obviously), and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this happened. It was fun, really.
